Lisa Fratt, Editor
Lisa joined TriMed Media Group as editor of Health Imaging in 2010, after more than 12 years as a contributing editor and freelance writer for various trade publications, including Health Imaging and HealthWatch. Her professional interests include women’s health, pediatric imaging and practice management. She has put in her more miles than she cares to count at RSNA annual meetings. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Connecticut, and resides with her family in northern Wisconsin.
Evan Godt, Staff Writer & Photographer
Evan joined TriMed Media Group in 2011, writing primarily for Health Imaging. Prior to diving into medical journalism, Evan worked for the Nine Network of Public Media in St. Louis, supporting the network’s immigration-focused media initiative and documentary, “Homeland.” He also has worked in public relations and education.Born in the suburbs outside of St. Louis, Evan studied journalism at the University of Missouri, with an emphasis on broadcast media. He currently lives in New York City with his fiancée.
Candace Stuart, Editor
Candace joined TriMed Media Group in 2011 as editor of Cardiovascular Business. She has worked as an editor and writer specializing in science and technology at several newspapers, news websites and magazines. Her previous positions include assistant business editor at the Detroit News and editor-in-chief at Small Times Media. She also has taught journalism at the University of Dayton, where she was director of media relations, and at Indiana University, where she earned a master’s degree in journalism. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Kenyon College. She lives in metro Detroit with her husband and two dogs and spends her free time volunteering at a nearby animal shelter.
Mary Tierney, Vice President & Chief Content Officer
Mary joined TriMed Media in 2002. She was the founding editor and editorial director of Health Imaging, Cardiovascular Business, Molecular Imaging Insight and CMIO, now known as Clinical Innovation + Technology. Prior to TriMed, Mary was the editorial director of HealthTech Publishing Company, where she had worked since 1991. While there, she oversaw four magazines and related online media, and piloted the launch of two magazines and websites. Mary holds a master’s in journalism from Syracuse University. She lives in East Greenwich, R.I., and when not working, she is usually running around after her family, taking photos or cooking.

Beth Walsh, Editor
Beth earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and master’s in health communication. She has worked in hospital, academic and publishing settings over the past 20 years, including the Harvard School of Public Health. Beth joined TriMed Media Group in 2005, and became editor of CMIO in October 2011, which was later renamed Clinical Innovation + Technology. Born in New York and raised in Wisconsin, Beth has lived in Massachusetts for 17 years. When not covering all things health IT-related, she spends time with her husband and three children.
