DarioHealth, producers of mobile health and big data solutions, has introduced their Blood Glucose Monitoring System (BGMS). The system utilizes the ease of smartphone devices to offer users a complete view of their health.

"Our products have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they meet the highest standards,” said Dror Bacher, COO of DarioHealth. “I believe Android users in the U.S. will be very pleased with our product offering, which is fairly priced and on par with many insurance co-pay plans."

Currently available on the Google Play app store for Android users, the BGMS app helps people with diabetes monitor their blood sugar while offering tools to further improve their diabetes management. The all-in-one system connects via a headphone jack that turns the mobile device into a glucose monitor. The app is then able to provide real-time glucose data, recommended treatment and support behavior changes. The web interface also allows for the sharing of data to families and healthcare providers.

"We are very excited to have reached this release date for the Dario app on certain Android devices,” said Erez Raphael, Chairman and CEO of DarioHealth. “With this launch, the Dario app now accessible to many more SMD users in the U.S. This continues DarioHealth's U.S. market progress, and opens the door for potential wide-scale expansion in this pivotal market."
